The Southridge Student Relay For Life Committee is preparing for the 5th annual Relay For Life event at Southridge School. The event is scheduled to be held on Friday, May 28th, 2021 during the school day. This is a school-wide non-competitive relay event to celebrate survivors, raise awareness, and remember loved ones in their fight against cancer. For the past four years, our school, with the support of companies within the community has raised over $378,000.00. 

This event is distinctive to the Canadian Cancer Society.

It is active, entertaining; and most importantly, unifying. This event is an important piece in the culture of the Southridge Senior School and this year we are fortunate enough to have the opportunity to make the Relay For Life a kindergarten to grade 12 event here at Southridge. 

As we are quickly approaching the event, we are reaching out to you in hopes that you will help sponsor the Relay for Life at Southridge School in the form of prizes and donations of any size this year - for grades K - 12. These sponsorships will greatly help as we prepare for this event and you will be recognized as a sponsor during our event and through our social media platforms. These company/ family donations and sponsorships are essential for helping us plan and create the K- 12 Relay event we all love. In addition, due to COVID-19 and wanting to keep our community safe this year Southridge’s Relay for Life will unfortunately not be able to include the survivor walk which is the biggest ceremony held at the event. In replacement to honour the families and lives who have been affected by cancer, we are putting together a survivor video.
