Welcome to Southridge!

We develop students who make a difference in the world.

We are thrilled that you are considering becoming part of the Southridge community. Since opening in 1995, we’ve been purposely small by design – with 328 Junior School (Grades K-7) students and 360 Senior School (Grades 8-12) students.

Our admissions process is designed to help you get to know us better, and for us to learn more about your family and your child. We are excited to introduce you to all that Southridge has to offer! We look forward to guiding you through the admissions journey and answering any questions you may have as you explore joining our vibrant and welcoming school community.

What kind of student thrives at Southridge? 

Selecting the school that will guide your child’s learning and development is a thoughtful process. Your child’s personality, learning style, and academic ability, as well as your family’s values, goals, and priorities, are all things you should consider when choosing an independent school. No two schools are the same – just as no two children are the same.

Admission to Southridge is selective and competitive, and our admissions process is set up to consider your child as a whole person, not just as a potential student. To ensure that your child will thrive at Southridge, we look at both their overall readiness for our enriched program, and their interests, and their character. Criteria include participation in extracurricular activities, their academic record, skills and achievements, motivation, determination, and resiliency. 

Please note: All applicants must also be fluent in both oral and written English as we do not offer ESL programs at Southridge.

Southridge has a no-gifts policy. We respect the gesture of appreciation; however we do not accept donations or gifts, or consider the promise of such upon enrollment from prospective families.
