Tuition and Fees

2019-2020 annual tuition: $19,000 – $22,700*

*This is the average cost of tuition for domestic students attending Southridge from Kindergarten to Grade 12. We offer three payment plan options, which vary the cost of tuition (details below).

Technology fees are included in the tuition amount billed. Additional fees apply for uniforms, cafeteria, and major activities and trips. Some of these costs may be mandatory.

At Southridge, we celebrate and support students to boldly pursue their dreams. Our financial assistance program also offers Senior School scholarships and bursaries.

Tuition Payment Plans

We understand that having options and flexibility with respect to tuition payments is important to a family's financial planning and so, we are pleased to offer three different payment plans. To view plans for the 2019-2020 school year, click the links below.

Note: Plan B (Standard) is the default payment plan if no other plan is chosen.

Payment Methods

Payment for tuition or monthly student account balances can be made to the school using the following methods:

Personal Cheque (drawn on a Canadian Bank)

Please make cheques payable to Southridge School and indicate the student number on the memo portion of the cheque.

Bank Draft or Money Order

Southridge accepts bank drafts in Canadian dollars. Please make bank drafts or money orders payable to Southridge School and indicate the student number on the memo portion of the bank draft or money order.

Internet Banking Online Bill Payment (Canadian banks only)

Payment may be made by setting up Southridge School as a payee through online banking on your bank website. The student number is used as the account number. If you have more than one child at the school, each child will have to be set up as a payee with a separate account number.

Credit Card Payment

Payment of student accounts by credit card is available for all plans. Under Payment Plan C (Installment), pre-authorization forms are to be filled out and submitted to the school. Payment by credit card for Payment Plans A (Prepaid) and B (Standard) require an administrative charge and is available through the Parent Portal of the school website.

Pre-Authorized Payments (Canadian bank accounts only)

To set up regular pre-authorized payments for account balances, complete the Pre-Authorized Payment Agreement form and return to the school office along with a void cheque. Payment will be deducted from your account on the 5th of the month.

We will issue a receipt confirming payment when cash is received.

Sibling Discount

A 5% discount on tuition is offered to all children from the same family. The discount is applied against tuition as it is billed to your account.

Important Notes

A Domestic student is defined as a student whose parent or guardian is a citizen of Canada or permanent resident and ordinarily resides in British Columbia, or who is lawfully admitted to Canada and is ordinarily resident in British Columbia. If this is not the case, the student will be considered International and international fees will apply.

Tuition fees are billed as per the dates indicated on the plans above and are due upon receipt, with overdue interest of 1.5% per month charged on unpaid balances. Monthly statements will be issued electronically, to serve as reminders and to give notice of incidentals billed to the student account. Incidentals are due when billed.
