As we begin to emerge out of COVID-19 restrictions, the Alumni Association embraces the opportunity to include alumni in our in-person school events and initiatives once again. The insights shared by our alumni have many benefits for students, and we look forward to welcoming more alumni back to campus to support the many ways they can positively impact the Southridge community.
Business Case Club
Every Tuesday, our students run a Business Case Club. The club's purpose is to teach, coach and practice analyzing, problem-solving, and presenting business cases, build creative and critical thinking skills in a team setting, and learn how to develop solutions for various business world problems.
Last month, this club started inviting alumni to join both virtually and in person. In March, they welcomed Alumnus Ryan Wilson '02 to talk about his experience as an entrepreneur. In April, the club had Ben Anderson '20 in person to talk about his experience at UBC Sauder School of Business.
We look forward to more opportunities to include alumni.
On April 29th, the students at Southridge came together to fundraise against cancer at the annual Relay For Life event.
Serena Bonneville '14 is a childhood cancer survivor and proudly returns to campus each year to help lead the ceremonial "Survivors Lap" to kick off this event.
