Giving
Since our inception, the generosity of the Southridge community has been remarkable. Through giving and volunteering, our families, faculty, alumni, and friends have built a community with an unwavering culture of philanthropy. This commitment - of leaving the school even better for the next generation of students who will follow – is a testament to the kind of community we aim to be.
As an independent school, we receive no funding for our capital expenses. Acquiring and developing our land, building and renovating our facilities, equipping and furnishing our classrooms, has and will continue to require the financial support of our families and friends. Every year, through our donation programs and fundraising events, we raise enough money to cover these costs and more. The generosity of our community is truly extraordinary.
At the same level, we also value and require the support of our amazing volunteers. Every member of our community – from parents and students to alumni and faculty – contribute thousands of volunteer hours each year. In fact, at Southridge, we don’t track volunteer hours because we don’t have to.
Volunteering is at the very heart of the Southridge experience. It’s one of the reasons families choose to join our community.
