Alumni Making A Difference
Christiane Hodson

Since our first graduating class in 1999, the Southridge alumni community has grown to more than 1,200 strong. In seeking their passion, this remarkable group of individuals are making a difference in the world and we are so proud of everything they continue to achieve.

In speaking with our alumni over the years, they often acknowledge that the opportunity to attend Southridge changed the course of their lives; allowing them to develop their knowledge, confidence, and character, and achieve their full potential.

For some of them, the opportunity to attend Southridge was made possible through financial assistance.

Cassia Armstrong, Class of 2014, is one recipient of the Spirit of Southridge Bursary. "Without the gift of a Southridge education, my life would look so different. I am proud to be the first woman in my family to graduate high school," says Cassia. For both sides of her family, receiving this gift is part of a generational change that will have lasting impacts for years to come. – read more of her story HERE.

Southridge was built on the desire to create a school of students with strong minds and good hearts. Since the day we opened our doors, financial assistance has been offered so that deserving, mission-aligned students and their families could join our community.

Funded through the generosity of donors, financial assistance makes a Southridge education a reality for over 25 students every year – students whose lives will forever be changed for having attended our school.

Alumni are already supporting current students at Southridge through the ASK Mentorship Program, and with the creation of a newly formed Alumni Financial Assistance Fund, they have the opportunity to continue to change the lives of future students who want to attend Southridge.

What a remarkable way to make a difference in the world.
