Grades 11-12
Southridge offers a stimulating, diverse academic Grade 11-12 program with an enriched curriculum, designed to prepare students for post-secondary, and life beyond high school, while allowing them to also pursue their individual passions, interests, and abilities.
A full range of academic electives is introduced in Grade 11. Students select their programs according to their strengths and preferences and are guided in their decisions by the Post-Secondary and Career Guidance Office at the school and the Vice-Principal of Learning. The strength of our university-planning program is evident by our students’ high success rates in gaining admittance to the institutions of their choice.
The Southridge academic program covers all prerequisites for studies in the arts, sciences, engineering, business, commerce, and foreign languages at universities in Canada, the United States, and the UK.
We offer Advanced Placement (College Board) courses and examinations in most of our subject areas that can earn students’ university level course credits recognized at schools around the world.
